Sockeye Salmon

Sockeye Salmon is an oilier fish and the second fattiest salmon after Chinook. Sockeye Salmon has a rich texture and lots of flavor. Sockeye also has the added benefit of having the firmest texture of all Pacific salmon.  Sockeye fillets are generally smaller and thinner than most other types of salmon. Sockeye salmon has the highest amount of omega 3 of any fish with around 2.7 grams per 100-gram portion. Predominantly a wild fish, it is available fresh only from late spring through summer and into September.

Dungeness Crab Sections
